Westin Annapolis Wedding: Kristen + Alex

They are one of my sweetest. clients. ever.  Kristen and Alex booked me last year after chatting on the phone.  We hadn’t even photographed their engagement session yet, but after my son was born in January a package arrived in the mail from them.  It was a congratulations gift, and it made my heart full for the couple I had yet to meet.  They have been sweet, caring, generous, and just all around lovely from the beginning, and on their wedding day they were nothing short of the same.

Kristen was surrounded by her best friends and bridesmaids as she got ready, each one just as sweet as the bride.  They helped her with whatever she needed and were there to calm her nerves as tears welled up thinking about marrying the love of her life.  And as she saw Alex for the first time, walking down that aisle at St. Anne’s Church, they looked at no one else, and the world around them seemed to fade away.

While their ceremony was filled with kindness and love, their reception at the Westin Annapolis was filled with fun and laughter.  They danced all night with their family and friends – a great crowd celebrating a great couple!

Kristen’s Presidential Suite provided some of the most incredible light for getting ready images.  And those sparkly Kate Spade heels?  Yes, please!

Love this photo of Kristen and her beautiful girls in their Plum Pretty Sugar robes!

Kristen also gifted each of her bridesmaids a monogramed bag and a coral Tory Burch wallet to match the wedding colors – so perfect!

The beautiful moment that Kristen’s dad sees her for the first time…

These two… So, SO adorable.

As we walked around Annapolis for bride and groom portraits, I asked Kristen and Alex if they were comfortable walking into a narrow alley.  Alex told me that after their engagement session in Georgetown, they trusted me to go anywhere.  And I love them for that!

These two make random doorways look good…

The light on this street?  Divine.

We made a quick stop by the water for a couple of portraits, and I’m so glad we did!

Intrigue Design & Decor worked their magic to ensure Kristen and Alex had the wedding of their dreams, and William Grace at the Westin was amazing to work with!

One of my favorite moments at every wedding: the hug at the end of the father-daughter dance…

Spectrum was amazing at keeping the dance floor packed all night!

Loooooved that Alex let loose on the dance floor all night.  So. Much. Fun!

Kristen and some of her bridesmaids went to Clemson, so she ordered some Tiger sunglasses to bring Clemson spirit to the party!

These two. Their families. Their friends. The best!

Kristen and Alex, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to capture your incredible day!  Your complete trust in me was truly appreciated, and your kindness never went unnoticed.  I adore you both and hope you’re having the best honeymoon in Hawaii!  Loves!
